Law spent a few hours to find the capacities of our Corolla 1991 LX. After he complained on how hard to find the data and a few frustration moment, here is the results he found:
Engine Oil - 3.5 qt (verified correct after putting 4 qt)
Transmission Oil - 2.5 qt (verified correct)
Coolant - 7 qt (verified not correct, radiater filled up before the prepared 3.5 qt is used up.)
Tom shown Lawrence how to read the transmission dip stick and how it should be cleaned and inserted into the transmission when the engine is running.
We waited and waited for the cooling fan to come on, so we could filled more coolant when the engine start circulating, but it never did. Instead the compression cooling fan is turn on, I was scratching my head. (After everything was done, I tested the cooling fan again and found out we forgot to plug the wiring back to the receiving socket. Also the compressor fan was on because the air flow sliding switch was turned to defrost.).
After Lawrence put the 2 mud shields back under the car. The whole job is done.
